Challenge
Due to the measuring principle, pH and ORP sensors need regular calibration which usually causes an interruption of the measurement or even of the process. In remote plant areas or hard to access applications, calibration directly at the measuring point is also not an easy job to do for service personnel.
Solution
High occupational and process safety is achieved using SMARTPAT sensors with built-in transmitter that can be calibrated offline in the laboratory under standardised conditions. There is no need to carry out calibration on-site and measuring points can be retrofitted with pre-calibrated and regenerated sensors in a few minutes.
