ISO 21562 verification for marine fuel bunkering solution 

KROHNE Marine introduces a measurement solution for marine fuels that meets the requirements of ISO 21562:2020 for bunkering on receiving vessels (except custody transfer applications). It is based on the OPTIMASS 2400 F and OPTIMASS 6400 F Coriolis mass flowmeters (MFM) in combination with EcoMATE™ software.

ISO 21562 defines performance criteria, functional requirements and operational guidelines intended to support accurate, consistent and traceable marine fuel measurement. A key expectation of the standard is achieving an expanded measurement uncertainty of 0.5% for bunker fuel applications.

To achieve verification, KROHNE Marine underwent a comprehensive conformity assessment covering instrumentation performance, system configuration and data-handling processes. This reflects KROHNE Marine’s continued commitment to providing accurate, reliable and technically robust measurement solutions for the maritime industry.
