Flow computer for liquids, gases and steam
- Calculation unit for heat metering (MID MI-004) and cold water metering (PTB); logger function
- Calculates the energy, (standard) volume and mass from input variables (flow rate, pressure, etc.)
- Input: 2 x 0/4…20 mA, 2 x pulse or frequency, 2 x Pt100/500/1000
- Output: 2 x 0/4…20mA, 3 x pulse, MBus, Modbus (RS 232), etc.
Overview
The ERW 700 is a flow computer for energy and flow rate calculation of gaseous, vaporous and liquid media. As a MI-004 approved calculation unit it can be used as part of a heat metering system in custody transfer applications. In addition, it is approved according to PTB for use in combination with a cooling meter. The flow computer calculates the (standard) volume, mass and energy of liquids, gases and steam from the input variables flow rate, (differential) pressure, temperature and density.
