Overview

The IFC 400 is a 4-wire electromagnetic signal converter for safety instrumented systems (SIS) as well as advanced process applications requiring high accuracy, advanced diagnostics, and wireless on-site verification. Thanks to its optimised signal processing, the IFC 400 maintains operation even during major process disturbances, e.g. in the presence of significant amounts of entrained gas, solids or electromagnetic disturbances. Combined with the flow sensors of the OPTIFLUX and WATERFLUX series it forms the OPTIFLUX 1400, OPTIFLUX 2400, OPTIFLUX 4400 (also SIL 2/3 certified for safety-related applications), OPTIFLUX 5400, OPTIFLUX 6400, and WATERFLUX 3400 electromagnetic flowmeters.
