Groundbreaking Ceremony for Production Expansion in Shanghai

On March 18, 2025, KROHNE celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony for its production expansion in Shanghai. The ceremony was attended by high-ranking Chinese officials, including the Vice Mayor of the Songjiang region and department heads, as well as KROHNE's executive board and local management team.

Attila Bilgic, CEO KROHNE Group, highlighted the importance of this expansion: "This investment underscores our continuous commitment to the region. By expanding our production capacities, we can not only better serve the needs of our local customers but also strengthen our presence and sustainable growth in the China and APAC markets."

The new site is located approximately 4 kilometers from the current KROHNE production location in Shanghai in the Songjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone and spans an area of about 43,000 square meters. The expansion will include a production hall of around 18,000 square meters, a warehouse of approximately 4,000 square meters, and an office building of about 1,800 square meters.
