New Exhibition by the KROHNE Art Collection: TRACES – NATURE AS TROPHY

The KROHNE Art Collection is pleased to present the exhibition TRACES – NATURE AS TROPHY from 9 October to 21 November 2025 at the premises of KROHNE Messtechnik GmbH, Ludwig-Krohne-Str. 5, 47058 Duisburg, Germany. Visitors are warmly invited to the opening on Thursday, 9 October 2025, from 5 to 8 pm.

Featuring over 30 artistic positions from the company’s collection, the exhibition investigates how the human relationship with nature is reflected in contemporary art. Curated by Katharina Dubbick, Kristian Dubbick and Annette Friebe, the works are grouped into three thematic chapters:

  • Traces: This chapter presents landscapes as a genre in which the interaction between humans and their environment is directly visualised.

  • Wounds: Conceptual works that consciously explore the fractures and contradictions of our current ecological situation.

  • Nature’s Wonders: Works in which matter itself becomes an agent, touching on the relational and unstable generation of knowledge and meaning.

The exhibition is open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1 to 5 pm, on Saturday, 8 November from 1 to 5 pm, and by appointment. The finissage will take place on Friday, 21 November from 6 to 8 pm.
