Overview
The DK48 is a variable area (VA) flow meter for monitoring or dosing of extremely small flow volumes of liquids (≥2.5 l/h or 0.65 GPH) and gases (≥5 Nl/h or 0.22 SCFH). It is thus particularly useful for sample flow monitoring in analyser systems and containers as well as on purge panel solutions or in similar applications. Due to its robust glass construction, the VA meter is highly suitable for aggressive products.
The DK47 operates without auxiliary power supply. The purgemeter consists of a glass tube (14.5 cm / 5.7"). The medium is therefore visible and the flow value of the medium can be read directly off the scale at the height of the float. The VA meter can be provided with max. two limit switches (NAMUR) or a 3-wire open collector. For precise setting of the flow value, the DK47 features an adjustable needle valve. It is also available with a differential pressure regulator to provide constant flow rates in case of varying inlet or outlet pressures. The device has approvals for use in hazardous areas.
