New converter for KROHNE Coriolis measuring instruments

The MFC 300 is KROHNE's new converter for OPTIMASS Coriolis flowmeters. The MFC 300 is based on the same concept as the converters used in electromagnetic flowmeters: Just one converter for all measuring applications, optimized measuring performance as well as the world's only 3 x 100% diagnostics function which diagnoses problems with the measuring instrument, the process and ensures compliance with the specification. The new KROHNE MFC 300 converter is suitable for all process industries and can be used to determine the mass flow as well as for density, volume and concentration measurements.

The MFC 300 comes with the standard approvals for use in hazardous areas, communication interfaces and outputs. The hardware is identical for all types of housing. Comprehensive diagnostic functions ensure maximum system availability and process reliability. In the unlikely event of a fault, the calibration data is redundant which means that the appliance does not have to be reparameterized. Thanks to KROHNE's standard optimized operating concept, the system is simple to start up and program.
