Duisburg, November 17, 2008: Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies has chosen KROHNE as one of its  international suppliers of measurement equipment and related services. The framework  agreement was signed on Tuesday, Nov 4 at KROHNE headquarters in Duisburg. KROHNE will be one of the suppliers providing flow measurement devices and services for water and wastewater projects and applications.  

Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies is the worlds’ leader in water treatment, providing turnkey installations and technological solutions for local authorities and industries worldwide. The French based company employs 7,741 people and has 120 subsidiaries in over 55 countries.

As its new business partner, KROHNE will provide instruments for volumetric and mass flow measurement, along with additional calibration and maintenance services. This will not be the first time that KROHNE and Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies have joined forces: In the past, both companies have completed several joint projects, including the instrumentation of a desalination plant in Australia.
