In recent years, H.C. RĂ¼ngeler has painted an increasing number of series of city images and landscapes. These have evolved to become bird's-eye views over extensive regions. In creating these pictorial universes he has followed a path that many artist have taken - from the renaissance to early modern time (Oskar Kokoschka).
