The new standard in variable area technology | New H250 M40 flowmeter successfully introduced at ACHEMA 2009
| | Intelligent modularity: functions can easily be added in modules
| | Wide range of applications in the chemical industry. |
Duisburg, June 2, 2009:
The introduction of the H250 M40 at ACHEMA 2009 met with great success. Visitors were especially interested in the innovative construction of the new flowmeter. It is completely modular in design: the basic version of the H250 M40 can be used purely mechanically as a flowmeter, without the need for a power supply. Depending on requirements, users can easily add or exchange a wide variety of functions including limit switches, counter modules with LC display and even electrical signal outputs.
Featuring the variable Ex concept (intrinsically safe, non-incendive , or in an explosion-proof enclosure), the device is in keeping with a variety of explosion protection strategies and is designed for installation in gas and dust explosive areas. The resulting variety of uses is particularly valued in the chemical industry: The H250 M40 can be versatilely used to measure gases as well as conducting and non-conducting liquids in any installation length - even for horizontal and fall pipes. The robust all-metal version ensures high resistance to pressure, temperature and product and can withstand extreme usage and ambient conditions. This makes it a cost-effective and reliable standard solution for the process industry.
"As the market and technology leader in the field of variable area flowmeters, we are proud to present another new product in 2009 that covers an extremely wide range of applications.“ explains Marcus Conein, product manager for variable area flowmeters at KROHNE. "The questions posed by visitors and in particular the interest shown by some major customers at ACHEMA demonstrate to us that we are able to fulfil user requirements with true innovation.“
