A PT 100 chip, Class A, to DIN EN 60751 in 2-, 3- or 4-wire technology is fitted as standard in the sensor casing.
An analog or programmable signal converter can be installed for data transmission with 4 ... 20 mA standardized signal or Profibus PA.

The temperature sensor TTP 400 with adjustable insertion depth and stainless steel connecting head is used in processes with high hygienic demands (e.g. breweries, dairies, drinking and pharmaceutical industry).
The maximum measuring range is -20 ... +150 °C / -4 ... +300°F.
The standard is a PT 100-Chip class A in accordance to the DINEN 60751specs.integrated in the sensor housing enabling 2,3 or 4-wiring techniques. For the measurement conversion to the unified signal 4...20 mA a standard or a programmable transmitter can be installed.

The TTP 500 surface temperature sensor with stainless steel connection head is used in processes, where no contact with product is desired.
The dedicated adapter sleeve allows the installation on the tank surface or a flush front installation on the tank wall.
The service during the ongoing process is possible.

Measuring principle
All temperature sensors of this series feature a Pt100 chip as the sensor element.
A platinum meander applied to a ceramic substrate is trimmed such that its electrical resistance at 0°C is exactly 100 ohms. This resistance increases by 0.38 ohm for each 1 Kelvin temperature rise.
The exact resistance performance is described in the DIN EN 60751 standard. For our temperature sensors we use without exception the high accuracy class "A".
