The PTD 500 pressure sensor with flush-front stainless steel diaphragm is designed for use in processes demanding high standards of hygiene (e.g. breweries, dairies, food and pharmaceutical industries).
Typical applications are tank level measurement based on the hydrostatic principle and relative pressure measurement.
The process pressure acts via the flush-front stainless steel diaphragm on a piezoresistive measuring bridge.
Hygienic installation is ensured by means of the hygienic process welding sleeve HWN 500.
The PTD 500 is suitable for use in CIP and sterilizing processes.
