OPTISWITCH - vibration limit switch from KROHNEThis year´s Schüttgut will be the setting of KROHNE´s presentation of the OPTISWITCH 3000 series of vibration limit switches. These are available in a number of variants: with short and long paddles, coated and uncoated, and made of various metals and alloys. The OPTISWITCH 3000 is a series of switches for solid materials, mainly particulates with a bulk density upwards of 0.02g/cm3.
The standard version OPTISWITCH 3000 C is designed for a temperature range of -50 to +100°C and has various outputs. The housing is made of plastics. OPTISWITCH 3100 C is suitable for use in areas with temperatures up to 250°C when fitted with a distance piece. The outputs are the same as those of the standard model, but housings are also available in aluminium and stainless steel. Various ATEX approvals are on hand.
OPTISWITCH 3200 C features a suspension cable and, except for the temperature range (only -20 to +80°C), is equivalent to the 3100 C. OPTISWITCH 3300 C is equipped as standard with an extension pipe. The operating temperature is between -50 and +150°C; or +250°C when fitted with a distance piece. The housing is available in plastics, aluminium or stainless steel, and various ATEX approvals are on hand.
