OPTIMASS the family of Coriolis mass flowmeters is improving performance in more applications for more customers than ever before. OPTIMASS overcomes the constraints on flow, materials and applications traditionally associated with single straight tube Coriolis meters. OPTIMASS provides superb accuracy and reliability, as well as a whole host of innovative features and benefits for the user.

No limits with tube materials
Titanium, Hastelloy, or Stainless Steel allow straight tube metering for almost any process.
No limits with flow
From 0.3 to 2300000 kg/h with a full range of meters for low and high flow applications.
No limits with measured product
High viscosity, particulate matter, inhomogeneous mixtures, normal entrained air, have little effect on the accuracy of the measurement.
No limits with installation
Support on the process pipe or the meter body, without the need for accurate positioning.  A complete range of process connectors for all existing and future installations is available.
No limit with electronics
OPTIMASS has been designed with all new electronics, which incorporates Front End signal processing that is permanently mounted to the meter.  This provides high speed and low noise measurement, as well as remote connection to the signal converter up to 300 m.  Dual redundancy of configured data, calibration constants etc ease maintenance.

Adaptive Sensor Technology AST
KROHNE has re-designed the Coriolis flowmeter from the inside out to produce an instrument that is inherently balanced under all operating conditions. 
The result is a meter that can cope with the most demanding process conditions and still deliver accurate and reliable measurement time after time.  KROHNE's patented AST design is extrememly stable and will adaptively tune each meter independent of external forces and fluid density.


Tried and tested technology
To ensure the highest standards of quality and accuracy, all meters in the OPTIMASS family have been rigorously tested.  Series 1000, 2000, 3000 and 7000 have been comprehensively trialed at major chemical, pharmaceutical and food and beverage sites in Europe to actively measure the mass flow of substances such as margarine, coffee extract and pesticides, and are delivering previously unattainable levels of performance.

OPTIBATCH and OPTIGAS are meters developed for the special needs of filling machines and CNG gas dispensers.

KROHNE extends calibration facilities to meet customer demand
Seven state-of-the-art calibration rigs costing more than £500,000 have been installed at KROHNE's Coriolis mass flowmeter worldwide manufacturing and service facility in Wellingborough to meet the growing customer demand for the revolutionary OPTIMASS range. The rigs DN 15 to DN 250 are approved according to EN 17025 by UKAS.
