Jass has installed an OPTIFLEX on a silo for the measurement of bentonite. Using a radar instrument was not possible. The signal quality and stability were problematic.
In comparison to radar instruments the OPTIFLEX is independent from the angle of repose and the user gets better results. It has a better signal in this application and also a significant higher stability.
