Master-metering as an alternative to provers

An alternative to mechanical meters with an associated prover is a meter with no moving parts in conjunction with a master meter. Such technologies include ultrasonics or a mixed technology such as ultrasonics and Coriolis. They allow a Z-configuration at the measuring station. One meter is used as the duty meter, while the other is used as the master.
