CORIMASS measures bromium hydrogen

Bromium hydrogen is used in a certain concentration for different processes for the manufacture of pharmaceutical products. Bromium hydrogen is a highly aggressive medium which immediately starts to evaporate on contact with air. To check the correct concentration constantly, samples have been taken up to now and control measurements made in the laboratory. However, this procedure was expensive, subject to risk and due to rapid evaporation inaccurate and poorly reproducible.
The requirements posed for a measurement were material stability, reliability of the concentration measurement and quantity accuracy.
A CORIMASS G+ with straight zirconium measuring tube is now used for the measuring task. For more than two years the measurement has been fulfilling the requirements posed daily.
The investment pays for our customers even after a few months since laboratory analyses are no longer required. The reduction in risk for man and environment due to this investment cannot be weighed with money.
