CORIMASS 1.5E takes heavy vibration in it’s stride

KROHNE's Corimass E Series are designed to monitor low mass flow rates from 6g/min to 33 kg/min in liquid and gaseous products. The E Class instruments are the only self-draining mass flowmeters available for low flow rates and are suitable for use in a wide range of chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, bio-engineering and food and beverage applications. The production of Portland Cement creates a hostile operating environment, from the high level of vibration caused by the grinding and mixing of ores, to the high temperatures caused by handling molten rock. During the manufacture, a liquid additive is used to aid the grinding. For the process to be both efficient and effective, the liquid additive must be injected on a mass base, at the correct ratio. The Corimass 1.5E is used to withstand the incessant vibration and high process temperatures within the production environment and to control the low additive flow rates with a consistently high accuracy +0.2%.
