CORIMASS control enables optimum burning in incinerator
(CORIMASS has now been replaced by the more advanced OPTIMASS)
Burning of Waste Liquid Hydrocarbons (in an incinerating plant)
The customer measures mass flowrate and density of waste liquid hydrocarbon mixture. Measured density, which helps to indicate the approximate composition of the mixture, is transmissed to the central control system via current output.
Flowrate measurement is used to control the pump and it also helps to maintain the optimum burning process. It is transmissed to the control system via pulse output.
Total mass indicates the amount of burned waste hydrocarbons.
When the burner stops, the control input of the flowmeter is activated and the flowmeter goes to STANDBY mode. Then e.g. steam cleaning of the flowmeter is possible without influencing of the outputs. As liquid hydrocarbons have low congelation temperature, the primary head is isolated (done at the customers´). | Flowmeter: MFM 3081 10E (3 pieces)
| | Process temperature: 160°C
| | Process pressure: 10 to 20 bar
| | Connection: flanges DN 15 / PN 40 to DIN |
Key Words: Coriolis, burning, garbage incineration, flow, garbage, liquid hydrocarbon
