The Greek customer, truck owners, were experiencing flow problems when the equipment they were using to measure the flow of lime into trucks had too low a flow. Correct mechanical functioning was imperative in order to secure good lime flows.

The KROHNE magmeters, supplied via KROHNE's Greek agent, were connected to a serial printer, with one switch for the supply and another for the resetting of the counter for each new customer. The amount of lime emptied could be measured either in tonnes or in square meters.
The magmeters have solved the flow problem to the extent that the customer will have recouped the cost of the new equipment within 10 to 12 months.
