Kormarine 2009 was held from 21 – 24 October 2009 at the Busan Exhibition and Convention Centre in Busan, Korea. The International Shipbuilding & Marine Equipment exhibition is a key event for global shipbuilding companies to share technologies and information. This year Kormarine hosted 1,250 stands and attracted more than 40,000 visitors from 70 countries.

Marintec 2009 was held from 1 - 4 December 2009 in Shanghai, for its 15th edition, 30th anniversary. Occupying five halls of the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, over 1.200 exhibiting companies met 42.689 visitors from around the world, a remarkable 20% increase compared to Marintec 2007.
