High-tech ceramics in flow measurementOPTIFLUX 5300 KROHNE?s OPTIFLUX 5000 with flanged connection is from now on available with new high-tech ceramics for small meter sizes from DN 15 to DN 100.
The ceramic material is thus protected against damage particularly when the OPTIFLUX is being installed. The flanged version guarantees the customer even greater integrity and at the same time fewer wetted parts. Apart from the ceramic liner only the sealing and the electrodes are wetted.
These electromagnetic flowmeters are used above all in applications where extremely accurate measurements are a "must". Chemically aggressive and abrasive media can also be measured. The ceramic measuring tube is freely supported and is not in direct contact with the pipe flanges.
By providing flanged connections for the smaller meter sizes, KROHNE has increased the number of solutions available for all chemical applications.
