H 250 with new electronic signal converterAt INTERKAMA, KROHNE will present the H 250 variable-area flowmeter with a new electronic signal converter: the ESK 2 A. This converter has new circuitry that uses state-of-the-art electronic components.
The new concept relies on a completely non-grounding design without a metallized housing, capacitive coupling to ground and a high degree of immunity to line-conducted interference. KROHNE has also added a number of new diagnostic functions to the H 250 variable-area flowmeter, which is the current standard in the process industry.
Among other things, it can check temperature compensation, flow linearization and count values. A new HART control concept provides extended parameterization of low flow rates, for example, and the flowmeter can be used as a summation meter. In addition, limit values can be set via a HART device. The H 250 with ESK 2 A complies with the latest HART test specification of the HART Communication Foundation (HCF).
