Comprehensive range for reliable level measurement

KROHNE develops innovative level meters featuring outstanding performance and reliability

At Interkama, KROHNE introduces a whole series of new products to do with level measurement. In addition to special solutions for the bulk goods industry and the food and pharmaceutical markets, the focus in development was on new antenna concepts and ways to make operating the measuring devices even easier.

Just to name two examples:

The OPTIFLEX 1300 C level meter is based on TDR technology (guided microwaves) and was especially designed for high temperatures (up to 300 °C) and high pressure applications (up to 300 bar). These process conditions can be found in the petrochemical industry among others.

The innovative HT/HP sealing system ensures a reliable gas-proof separation throughout the entire operating range. One of the OPTIFLEX 1300C’s special features is its extraordinarily compact design. In addition, the measuring device features a large touchscreen used to easily start up and operate the measuring device with just four keys.

For applications in the bulk goods industry, KROHNE has developed a reliable solution for measuring supplies of powders and bulk goods. The new FMCW OPTIWAVE 6300C radar measuring device is based on more than 20 years of experience and has a special antenna which can even detect the uneven surfaces in silos.

The drop antenna with its ellipsoidal shape features an outstanding directional receiving pattern (2° angle of reflected beam) and is unaffected by dust or deposits. Thanks to a wide selection of materials, antenna sizes and materials, there is always the right measuring device for a wide range of bulk goods and ambient conditions.
