IFC 100: Standard converter in the chemical industry Duisburg, May 11, 2009:
Although it was only introduced last year, the electromagnetic signal converter IFC 100 has already proven itself in a variety of industries. In addition to water and wastewater applications, the chemical industry is primarily accountable for the high number of units. The device is mainly used in standard applications such as metering, blending, mixing and transporting.
The IFC 100 can be combined with all standard electromagnetic flow sensors in the OPTIFLUX product family, which has established itself as the standard in process instrumentation with several hundred thousand devices in operation. The IFC 100 is now also approved for use in hazardous areas. This approval applies to the compact design with OPTIFLUX 2- and 4000 and applies to the remote design of OPTIFLUX 2-, 4-, 5- and 6000.
The IFC 100 was developed for applications demanding an economic solution and a high degree of functionality at the same time. The device features accuracy of ±0.3% of the measured value and is simple and intuitive to use. It is backwards compatible with older measuring sensors, providing modern functionality such as self-diagnosis even for existing installations.
