Interpharma Praha, a.s., a Czech producer of very pure chemicals for final production of pharmaceutical materials and medicaments asked for simple, cheap and reliable nitrogen flowrate measurement with the possibility of reading and adjustment of flow in the place of the installation (they set the needed flowrate value and maintain it during the process).

Finally he chose 3 KROHNE miniature variable area flowmeters DK 800 N mainly due to the long tradition and good name of KROHNE products, reliability and a good performance/price ratio.



Nitrogen is distributed from the central tank through these flowmeters into 3 driers, dry nitrogen is then used as inert atmosphere for final products making
