DK 34 in producing styrene

KAUCUK, a.s., Kralupy nad Vltavou, Czech Republic, is a chemical enterprise with many years' tradition and a producer of a wide range of products, e.g. styrene-butadiene rubbers, liquid polybutadienes, polystyrene, ABS, etc.

This company has been using various KROHNE instruments for many years.During styrene production nearly all measuring points with pressure and level transmitters need to be purified with nitrogen to prevent from moisture condensation and product polymerization there.

For the nitrogen flowrate measurement the customer has been using KROHNE all-metal variable area flowmeters DK 34 (more than 50 pieces).
