BM 70 replaces ultrasonics on foaming rinsing water applicationLevel measurement of waste (rinsing) water in an electronic components producing factory
The medium is rinsing water, pickling baths, which are collected in sumps approx. 6 m deep. Foam and vapours from warm water, condensing on a probe, caused frequent failures of the previously used ultrasonic level meter. As the pumps were controlled according to the level in the sumps, the unreliable measurement shortened their service life. We offered KROHNE BM 700 with a polypropylene antenna. After 2-week trial the customer ordered 7 pieces of BM 700. The customer highly appreciated the supplied version of the PC-CAT Lite software.
