Level measurment in producing styrene

	After long sample phase decision for BM 100A and BM 26

KAUCUK, a.s., Kralupy nad Vltavou, Czech Republic, is a chemical enterprise with many years' tradition and a producer of a wide range of products, e.g. styrene-butadiene rubbers, liquid polybutadienes, polystyrene, ABS, etc. This company has been using various KROHNE instruments for many years.

One of their interesting applications is the level and interface measurement during styrene production. After one year´s field tests in the old styrene production line the customer decided to install KROHNE TDR level meters BM 100A in his new line.

Altogether 16 BM 100A has been used for hydrocarbons level measurement and water/hydrocarbons interface measurement. In the most important measuring points the measurement is doubled with KROHNE level meters BM 26.
