Abrasion resistance and measurement stability through rubber lining

A leading Czech coal mining corporation has bought a new dredger for coal sediments extraction from sludge lagoons. KROHNE magnetic-inductive flowmeter ALTOFLUX IFM 4080 F/D DN 200 / PN 10 with soft rubber liner, conductive rubber electrodes and inlet protective grounding ring is used to measure the dredger volume flowrate (in the outlet section).

This flowmeter features an excellent abrasion resistance and measurement stability due to the unique conductive rubber electrodes and outstanding signal converter KROHNE IFC 090. Modular converter design enabled an easy installation in front of the dredger cabin.

This corporation has already bought six KROHNE magnetic-inductive flowmeters for highly abrasive coal sludges measurement.
