The simple 2-wire connection meant it was easily accommodated into the site’s existing loop wiring. The standard EEx rating of the signal converter means no additional external flameproof connection box is equired, saving up to 50% on the installation cost.
With multiple ignition protection classes the IFM 4042 allows for flexible use in hazardous environments, a single unit with different protection approvals. EEx-i, EEx-e or EEx-d, can be held in stock.
